Setting Up AOL Version 4

1. Load the AOL software.
   
2. On the sign-on screen, click on Setup.
   
3. Click Create a location for use with new access phone numbers or an ISP.
   
4. Click Next.
   
5. On the bottom click Add a custom connection (for example TCP/IP).
   
6. Click Next.
   
7. America Online is setup to connect using an ISP or LAN. Click OK.

Setting Up AOL Version 2 & 3

1. Load the AOL software.

2. On the sign-on screen, click on Setup.

3. Click on Edit Location.

4. Change both network drop down boxes to TCP/IP.

5. Remove both phone numbers.

6. Click Save, then OK

 

After you have correctly finished the above setup, you can now access your AOL account by logging into you InterActive account first and then signing onto AOL.
